gtk-im-libthai software package provides GTK+ 2 Input Method Module using LibThai, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gtk-im-libthai
gtk-im-libthai is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gtk-im-libthai package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gtk-im-libthai *
You will get with gtk-im-libthai package name, version, architecture and description in a table
